The “Envisioning AI-Driven Industries” study, a collaboration between SAP and the Foresight Academy, explored how AI is reshaping business not just through efficiency, but as a systemic force altering models, organizations, and entire industries. Through 16 expert interviews, co-creation sessions, and extensive desk research, the team built a grounded understanding of AI’s defining traits that have the most powerful potential to reshape business.

This foundation supported speculative foresight work, exploring how AI could restructure internal workflows, shift value creation, and transform brands into adaptive, system-embedded entities. This allowed us to think beyond the typical “noise” associated with AI and really dig into the radical ways that our world could change.

The result: a set of actionable insights, provocative scenarios, and “liquid” content outputs including AI-friendly documentation, a card set, and printed zines designed to help organizations anticipate and shape their role in the AI-powered economy.
