IN TIMES OF CORONA?

NEW PERSPECTIVES CHALLENGE PREVIOUS PERCEPTIONS.

All of a sudden, everything changes. 

On a personal level, we figure out how to best work from home, how to not see our parents, how to home school our children, or how to not feel lonely on our own. On a larger level we begin to question everything including our everyday that feels so far removed already. Do we live in the society we want? Does the way we used to do business make sense on any level? Will this shared challenge make us stand together or propel us further apart? How did we not see this coming? What can we learn for the future?

At gravity, we are optimists. We believe that there is a powerful lesson that this period of no-longer-business-as-usual can teach us as individuals, as companies, as families, as communities, as societies and yes – as humanity. Corona is already changing the depth of our discourse with each other. It brings out the best in us (and sometimes the worst). It forces us to be flexible and sensible and kind. 

Our thoughts are with the people who have fallen ill and the families who have lost loved ones. Our thoughts are with those actively fighting corona and those making sure the system keeps running. Our thoughts are also with those who #stayathome even though home for them is not a safe space.

Let’s keep our eyes open. Let’s keep our hearts wide. And let’s keep washing our hands.
